In need of QC’ers! August 29, 2013

Posted by sgtkira in Uncategorized.

Hello, everyone! We are in need of some QC’ers. In this case, we are in need of someone who can do a final pass on some of our shows, and who is able to catch any little things that may slip through before the episodes are released. We need someone who has some experience with it, and could possibly do an episode per day, if necessary. Please either contact us here, through our Hikari Senshi twitter page or facebook page, or contact sgtkira through the #SHT IRC chatroom on rizon. We thank you all for watching, and cannot wait to release some more episodes!

What is that?

A QC’er is someone who watches the episode after a translator and editor look at it. It’s usually to see if anything was slipped through. A mistake like a typo or something like that.

I’ve been looking for a way to actually contribute to these translations after having become a fan of sentai a couple months ago. Unfortunately, I have no actual experience with translation QC per se, but I’m pretty good with language and editing in general, so I might be able to help if no one else shows up, or perhaps assist or something. Willing to do anything to help, really, except for the actual translating, which I can’t do.

I’ll email you about it! Thanks!
