Staff/Members Page

We actually have enough staff/members now to make this page! First off, I want to thank all of you who help me out on these shows and make these releases possible! Now, time to list you guys!

sgtkira: Well, there’s me. I used to do everything for the group other than translate, but thankfully I am now surrounded by amazing people who are able to help me and take the load off a bit.

fantasyleader: The man of the hour. An amazing friend of mine who has helped us out a lot. I’m not saying he’s any better than our other staff, but I am specifically mentioning him because he helped this group when we had no one, and he was the second member of a 2-man group. Thankfully we’ve grown, but he’s still a valued member of our group. And unlike everyone I’ve met on the internet, WE HAVE ACTUALLY HUNG OUT IN REAL LIFE AND HE IS A REAL COOL DUDE! He has currently worked on GoGoV, older versions of Kakuranger, Dairanger, TL checking the current Gekiranger releases, and he’s doing some other stuff that I am not at liberty to discuss. If I do, I will be killed at midnight. He also finished Dairanger by the way. So booyah.

KouAidou/Tekhou: She technically isn’t a member of the group, but I still believe that she deserves a mention anyway. She has her own blogspot where she posts her translated scripts. Without her, we wouldn’t have Zubat, Gaia, or Da Garn! So I feel like I need to thank her somehow. Right now she is currently subbing Zyuranger with MegaAnon and GUIS, Carranger with HaroRangers, Yoshihiko with Over-Time, and is the translator behind the current Kakuranger releases, which we are working on with GUIS. I’m so happy that she’s been able to work on these projects, and I can’t wait to see what she puts out next!

Daremo: Newer member who is in love with Ultraman and Godzilla. Has pre-timed a LOT of Return of Ultraman, some Gaia, and a few other things here and there. Very enthusiastic about these shows, and I wouldn’t want him any other way!

Cirno: Timed a few Kakurangers for us. Good man. Hope he can help us out in the future!

Makhazol: More freelance than anything else, but he’s helped us with timing Dai, and is the current translator behind Gyrozetter! Happy to have him aboard!

Magenta: Another freelancer, still subbing with Over-Time, and his group, Aesir. He’s jointing Boukenger with us, and he’s a good guy. He’s also helped us with little lines here and there. A lot. There would be many unfinished scripts without this man.

Rahan/Goggle-Anon: Our awesome translator helping us out on Goggle-V. He is now a very good friend of mine, and I really love his work. He also helped us with the Dai CMs, and helps us line checks whenever he can. He loves Goggle with all his heart, and it’s great to have him working with us! While he has been busy (damn you life)

Ignis: Helping us by timing some GoGo. She also works with O-T as… God I think she does everything. QC, timing, TS. Jesus woman relax!

GekiKnight: Well what can I say about him. Currently he’s timing some GoGo and possibly some Kaku for us. He’s a freelance guy timing whatever he can, and he an editor for our newer Gekiranger releases, and hopefully for many projects to come! Love you man!

ZERO_ninja: Original encoder for the Dai volumes. He actually bought 1-3 himself. Without him, there wouldn’t even be Dairanger RAWs!

If I forgot your name, then I’m tired, so forgive me 😦 Also, if you wanna help out, then please post in the comments. We are always looking for new staff (hi potential translators) and would love to have you aboard!

1. Del Savage - December 28, 2011

will there ever be a complete Ninja Sentai Kakuranger sub….?

sgtkira - December 30, 2011

Why yes, yes there will be.

2. kenny - January 20, 2012

What will it take to get some more episodes of kakuranger?

sgtkira - January 22, 2012

Money. Lots and lots of money.

Nah, but seriously, the translator just needs some time, that’s all. And now with all this going on, I can’t even reupload what’s gone.

3. Erich Fillmore - February 7, 2012

I am looking for the english subs for Ultraman Gaia. Does your group have them? If so, how do I get them? I have all the episodes in .avi format. But I need the subtitle files if I am to watch them. If you don’t have them, any idea who might or how I might get them?

Thanks,
Erich

sgtkira - February 7, 2012

Yes, but I cannot upload them now. Sometime this week I’ll make sure to replace the dead links. Nothing should truly be “lost” 🙂

4. Daniel Seelye - February 23, 2012

For some odd reason, the Dairanger movie is missing from your download list. Just wondering: where did it go and where can I get from now?

sgtkira - February 23, 2012

No, it’s still there… I can’t access the fileserve page, but you can still click on it on the downloads page.

5. Daniel Seelye - February 24, 2012

I just checked again on your Downloads page and you’re right, it’s there. One problem: the available movie is Blu-Ray quality and my computer is NOT of Blu-Ray caliber and probably won’t be for the foreseeable future. Would it be feasible for you, as a group, to re-encode the movie for a lower quality (480p or 8-bit) and have it available for download?

sgtkira - February 24, 2012

Yep, the person who encoded the movie in HD is going to do it in SD as well, and we’ll end up making a torrent and a ddl for it. Not sure when, possibly some time next week.

6. Daniel Seelye - March 23, 2012

I have downloaded and watched what I can of Da Garn and I’m hooked on it. 2 questions: 1)When do you think the rest of Da Garn can be ready for download? 2)Would it be feasible, in any way, to begin translating Brave Express Might Gaine for downloading?

sgtkira - March 23, 2012

Sadly I can’t confirm either one. The translator doesn’t work with us, she just posts the scripts on her blog. We love her, and I talk to her, but we aren’t in contact that often. I can say that she will finish Da Garn, but it’s at her pace, and she has other responsibilities as well. And I’m not sure if she’s a fan of Might Gaine.

7. Misfits923 - May 11, 2012

Um, I was just wondering if there was any way getting around downloading iLivid just to download the episodes? I’m not quite familiar w/ it, and don’t want to risk doing damage to my PC

sgtkira - May 11, 2012

I don’t know what you’re clicking, exactly, but you have to be clicking the wrong download button if you’re downloading a program and not our files.

8. Misfits923 - May 13, 2012

I figured it out. I was clicking on the wrong download button.

9. ANTHONY VAN PYRE - May 16, 2012

WILL YOU BE ADDING YOUR FANSUBS OF FRANCE FIVE THAT WERE ON THE OLD SITE? ALL THE LINKS ON THE OLD SITE GO TO MEGAUPLOAD WHICH DOESNT EXIST ANYMORE. I WOULD LOVE TO GET THEM BUT HAVENT SEEN ANYWHERE ELSE I CAN GET THEM.

10. Miller - May 25, 2012

Is it possible that next time you are doing something related to this site, that you reupload the GoGo Five episodes? I would really like to see them! The only one I can really get from here is 10 because it was recent. The downloads page download links are not clickable.

sgtkira - June 3, 2012

Yes we are re-uploading them, but I am looking over them first to make sure that they all look like future releases. So we do not have to do them again in the future (unless we found DVDs or something)

Miller - June 4, 2012

It has said GoGoV 1,2,11 were released but the links have said comming soon for a week and now there is new stuff? Are you making a new post for these or just going to post them in the original post?

sgtkira - June 6, 2012

I’m going to put them in the original post, and on the downloads page.

11. Daniel Seelye - July 22, 2012

I have done a serious screw-up and deleted 1-13 of Da Garn from my computer. I was fortunate to get Episode 1 back, but when would it be feasible to make 2-13 available again?

sgtkira - July 22, 2012

When our friends at MCS either send me the RAWs so I can remux and reupload, or mux it themselves and reupload.

12. Daniel Seelye - November 18, 2012

Gyrozetter sounds interesting to watch. Unfortunately, with all episodes so far @720p, it just becomes a waste of a download. If they were @420p as well, I would give a better critique here. Can this be done?

sgtkira - November 18, 2012

We are unable to make 420 ones at this time, or hardsubs, but why would it be a waste? We don’t have .ts files for eps 3-4, so it’d just be a re-encode, which isn’t usually the prettiest thing to do.

Daniel Seelye - November 19, 2012

The reason why that it would be a waste for me is because @720p makes my computer uber-sluggish and really detracts from the overall viewing experience, and, like many (probably) other viewers, they don’t have the money outside of mandatory expenses to upgrade their computers to play the 720p episodes with any reasonable viewing pleasure.

sgtkira - November 19, 2012

I’m sorry to hear that. Are you sure it’s not a codec issue? I’ve had this computer since 2003 and it’s been able to play HD files, as well as Blu-Ray rips. We’ll look into making hardsubs, but we aren’t able to do that for 3-4 because we don’t have the .ts’ for it. It would just be a re-encoding and that doesn’t really look pretty.

13. Laban - November 30, 2012

Just wanna let y’all niggas know that y’all mad dope for picking up Gyrozetter. Mad respect holmes and hope y’al nigs take it easy, yo word?

14. kudosforce - April 23, 2013

Just so you know, France Five’s official DVD release has English subtitles, so you won’t need to sub/translate it after all!
